TRAVEL WITH SURFBOARDS? KNOW WHAT AIR COMPANIES ARE CHARGING

viajar pranchas surf

Every year it’s the same. Airlines tighten the siege and review values related to the transportation of sports equipment, what can be a real problem if you travel with surfboards.

Since I started traveling this is a deciding factor for choosing the airline that I’m going to use. Truth be told that in recent years my company of choice has been Emirates for that same reason: the transport and weight of the surfboard is included in the baggage allowed per passenger.

Of course, Emirates doesn’t fly everywhere and depending on where you want to travel, it’s best to be aware of all the rates and rules of the various airlines.

The following list is not my merit and it was the SurfTotal site that compiled all the data I share here.

To get even more information, read the original article and, in the end, always consult the airline you have selected to travel with surfboards, as the rules are always changing.

So, dear readers take a pen and paper and begin to write it down:

    1. Hi, Agness! Thank you so much for your comment. I’m glad this post is useful. But I advice to always check with the airline company you’re going to use since they are always changing baggage policy. 🙂
